At the farm

Banana flowers grow on mature banana plants. The blossoms are harvested when they are young and tender. Careful cutting ensures that the flowers remain intact and suitable for culinary use.

After harvesting, the banana flowers are cleaned, sliced into small pieces, and sorted for quality. They are then packed in cartons or trays, typically 3–5 kg, ready for distribution and sale.
